Clyde Bame
Instructor
Mr. Bame graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Bowling Green State University. He retired from Perrysburg Schools with 27 years of teaching experience in 2008. He is certified to teach all areas of science and math in Ohio in grades 7-12.
Dora Corsini
Instructor
Dora Corsini started teaching in 1978. She has been employed by Oregon City Schools since 1993. Her teaching experiences include teaching in a self-contained Junior High (teaching all subjects) and tutoring students from 3rd grade through college undergraduate.
Doug Dippman
Instructor
Mr. Dippman worked for thirty-eight years in the Oregon City Schools. He taught mathematics at Fassett Junior High School and Clay High School for 25 years and was a guidance counselor at Clay High School for the last 13 years. Mr. Dippman has been married to his wife Debra for 35 years and they have three daughters. This is his first year as a guidance counselor at the Eagle Learning Center.
Loren Dirr
Director
Mr. Dirr was employed by the Oregon City Schools for 35 years where he served as a math instructor, athletic director, high school assistant principal. middle school principal and high school principal at various times during his tenure.
Mr. Dirr is married and has four step-children, four grandchildren and a golden retriever.
Jane Fruth
Treasurer
Mrs. Fruth currently serves as the Treasurer for the Oregon City Schools and the Eagle Learning Center. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University with a major in Accounting. She has fifteen years experience as a Treasurer in Ohio Public Schools. Mrs. Fruth is married to her husband Robert and has three children John, Paul and Anne.
Hal Gregory
Superintendent
Mr. Gregory currently serves as the Superintendent of the Eagle Learning Center as well as the Director of Educational Services for the Oregon City Schools. He has a Bachelor of Education and Special Education from the University of Toledo and a Master of Arts degree from California State University-San Bernardino. He has 22 years of experience in education. Mr. Gregory is married to his wife Mary and has two sons Hunter and Mason.
Cyndi Heintschel
Secretary
Mrs. Heintschel is the Intake Secretary at the Eagle Learning Center, responsible for the enrollment of new students. She has been with the Eagle Learning Center for two years. She has two beautiful daughters and two adorable sons. She loves spending time with them along with family and friends.
John Johnson
Instructor
Mr. Johnson has over 40 years of experience teaching at St. Francis, Toledo Public Schools and Clay High School during his career. He has four daughters of which two are teachers, one is a lawyer and one is an office manager. He had a long career coaching basketball and football at the varsity level.
Rachel Kanable
Secretary
Mrs. Kanable has been working in the education field her entire career. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. She has been working at the Eagle Learning Center since the second year of its inception. She works on the logistical side of things for the ELC. Mrs. Kanable is the Power School, EMIS and SOES Coordinator for the Eagle Learning Center.
Donna Musiet
Intervention Specialist
Mrs. Musiet is the Intervention Specialist at Oregon Eagle Learning Center, working Tuesday & Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. She is also currently employed by Oregon City Schools. Mrs. Musiet has a total of 30 years in the teaching profession working with Special Needs children and their families.
Kori Roth
Staff
Mrs. Roth is the Superintendent’s Secretary for the Eagle Learning Center. She also works as the Secretary to the Director of Educational Services for the Oregon City Schools. She has worked for the schools for 20 years. She has been with the Eagle Learning Center since its inception and is proud of the students’ successes at the ELC. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family. She is married, has two wonderful children, two german shepherds and a cat.
Michael Stout
Site Director
Michael Stout has been an educator his entire adult life. He spent 36 years with the Oregon City Schools and has been with the Oregon Eagle Learning Center since its inception. He has a lovely wife and two adult children.
Joe Szymczak
Instructor
Mr. Szymczak was employed in the Elmwood School District for 31 years as a junior high English teacher, sophomore English teacher, physical education teacher and a reading specialist. Following retirement from Elmwood he spent ten years as a GED teacher at the Northwest Community Correction Center. He is married and has two sons and two grandsons.
Michael Timmons
Site Director
Michael Timmons has a Masters Degree in education and has worked 15 years with Genoa Area Local schools, 20 years with the Oregon City schools and has been with the Oregon Eagle Learning Center since its inception. When not working, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his wonderful family, which include his wife, three children and five grandchildren.
Kim Williams-Jones
Employability Coordinator
Mrs. Jones is the Employability and Work Study Coordinator at the Eagle Learning Center. She teaches employment skills, child development, and keyboarding classes. She also coordinates all of the vocational education classes at Eagle Learning Center. Mrs. Jones has a BCI from Tiffin University. She previously taught employment and life skills classes to youth and adult offenders and their families. She is married with two little girls.
